Did the buick skylark convertible come in a hardtop convertible?

I prefer the early 1960's (60-65) convertible, but if they didn't come in a hardtop convertible than could you tell what years did?Did the buick skylark convertible come in a hardtop convertible?GM never made a hard top convertible on any model. Ford did on the little T-birds (55-57). All the early Skylarks could be ordered in a convertible. My friend had a hard top '64 with a little aluminum block V8! But that was 1972. Nobody saved them. Engine gave up they were junked. Good luck on finding one!Did the buick skylark convertible come in a hardtop convertible?Contrary to the former answer, Ford never produced a Thunderbird with a convertible hardtop. That feature was restricted to the 1957 through 1959 Ford Skyliner. No other North American company produced such a car. Certainly, Buick never considered building a convertible hardtop. The term convertible hardtop was used, in the 50s, to denote a car with a hard top and no 'B' pillar, giving it a clear space between the windshield and the rear roof 'C' pillar. It had nothing to do with a roof that retracted. Ford referred to theirs as a 'retractable' roof.
