What parts do i need for my ac system for my 1994 buick roadmaster?

I just bought a new compressor because the old compressor went bad....i also bought a drier and orfice tube what kind of oil do i need to add into the new compressorWhat parts do i need for my ac system for my 1994 buick roadmaster?Michael S is exactly right - best answer for sure. He also knows you have R134a not because of a crystal ball but because 1994 was the first year R12 was banned from new equipment use. What parts do i need for my ac system for my 1994 buick roadmaster? You need to get everything hooked up and take it to a certified AC technician who knows what oil you need, how much to put in, he'll put the system on a vacuum pump(absolute necessity), then put the R134a in by weight only for your system, and if you don't do this you will probably be redoing the complete system again.

BTW, you don't have R12 and if you did there would be nothing you can do except convert it, but don't worry about that,What parts do i need for my ac system for my 1994 buick roadmaster?Depends on the refrigerant used. R-12 takes mineral oil while R-134a takes PAG oil. They are NOT compatible so read the decal under the hood. Usually found on the radiator support or on the underside of the hood. I'll bet you have R-134a tho.
