Can you turn off the passenger airbag on Buick Rendezvous 2003?

Sometimes I travel and have no choice to put a 4-6 year old in the passenger seat of the car. I am looking at buying a new car but want to make sure that I can turn off the airbag like in my 99 F150 or that it has a sensor like my 06 Odyssey does turning off the airbag. This is real important because an airbag can cause severe injuries.Can you turn off the passenger airbag on Buick Rendezvous 2003?No it cannot be turned off because the airbag system is divided up into zones and if you deactivate any zone you will deactivate all zones.......
