How much can I expect it to cost me to repair the rear differential? or the leak on the 94 Buick roadmaster?

estate wagon? How much can I expect it to cost me to repair the rear differential? or the leak on the 94 Buick roadmaster?no telling on the cost of a differential leak, can be fairly cheap, or fairly expensive. but i would definatley not take it to a oil change place to look at it. these people are not trained to do any kind of repair, and most of the time are barely capable of changing the oil.How much can I expect it to cost me to repair the rear differential? or the leak on the 94 Buick roadmaster?take it to a mechanic. you wouldn't let the" dish washer" cook your $ 30 steak. How much can I expect it to cost me to repair the rear differential? or the leak on the 94 Buick roadmaster?Hi

I would tend to agree to take it to a mechanic. The rear pan isn't a big deal but using the right oil and or additive is, and it has to be absolutely clean. If it's leaking at the axles or pinion be sure to take it to a mechanic. You need the right tools to install the new seals. How much can I expect it to cost me to repair the rear differential? or the leak on the 94 Buick roadmaster?
shouldnt be too much a leaky differential isnt hard to fix unless you have to remove suspension parts to get to the bolts and get the cover off you should look up how to do it and do it yourself and/or with a friend that has some mechanical experience you wil save money and gain knowledge about your car :)
