How to remove the thermostat of a 1996 Buick Regal 3.1L V6?

The thermostat isn't easy to reach as the air intake and the exhaust manifold (I think) are blocking the thermostat from being reached. I really need help in figuring out how I can remove parts so I can easily reach the thermostat. I know how to get to the thermostat and how to remove it from the previous response, but how do you remove the bolts when you can't reach them with a wrench or socket wrench?
