What do you think about a 1997 Buick Park Avenue?

I'm about to buy one with 69000 on it. Are they good cars. It's in beautiful shape. It's $4900, a good deal I believe.What do you think about a 1997 Buick Park Avenue?make sure the intake isn't leaking oil, common problem and expensive to fix. if its supercharged make sure it doesn't have a knocking noise on start up and shut down, also common supercharger going bad, very expensive to replace. water pumps are common to leak but cheap to replace. good luck. Yeah that's a good car. Has the 3800 V6 in it, which is a little underpowered in that chassis, but it's a good engine. Typically will give well over 200,000 miles w/o a problem.
