Yes it is. If it was well taken care of, it shouldn't give you too many problems. If the owner beat the crap out of it, you can expect many repairs. I would ask the owner if you can have your mechaic check the car over and let a 3rd party give you his advice on the car. it can be a great car but 2 things to think about. 1 - who owned it before you and what kind of maintenance did they do and 2- if it is a 3.1 liter engine make sure the intake gasket was replaced and if so make sure it was replaced with the new metal/mesh gasket and not the plastic one that was on there before. If it is a 3800 then not much to worry about besides how often the oil was changed and what not. should have around 100-120k miles on it?
